Culmington is mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1087 and herringbone stonework in the north and south walls (just to the right of the tower) suggests part of the Church is Anglo-Saxon. The rest of the building is a combination of 13th and 14th Century, while the unusual top to the unfinished spire dates from 1969.

The Church is open daily, a guide booklet is available and donations are welcome. The Church web site may be found: LinkExternal link and all queries should be directed through this site.
