Beacon Tarn and Beacon Fell
Beacon Tarn and Beacon Fell
From the summit of Wool Knott.

Having climbed Wool Knott, Beacon Fell is now the only one of the 116 Wainwright Outlying Fells which I have not climbed for a second time. I plan to complete my second round of these fells on Beacon Fell on 3 June 2019, which will be the 30th anniversary of the day on which I compleated the Munros. (The arcane spelling 'compleat' is traditionally used for the Munros, but no other hills.)

Added later: the plan was achieved! See also SD2790 : Looking down to Coniston Water from Beacon Fell.
