Grand Union Canal
Grand Union Canal
This is viewed from the tow path on the south side looking towards Berkhamsted. Lock Number 64 next to the cricket ground is behind the camera, the cricket ground itself is behind the trees across the canal. The poplars are protected and thriving apart from one or two ivy infestations. The chestnuts are fighting a canker with help from specialist tree surgeons employed by the Boxmoor Trust.
