Eype: a footbridge has gone!
Eype: a footbridge has gone!
Looking along Eype's Mouth, the mouth of the little stream into the sea at Eype. There was a footbridge just beyond the upturned boat (see for example SY4491 : Footbridge at Eype Mouth, taken at the end of 2011 and looking towards us) but it is not here now.

This doesn't cause any real difficulty for those wishing to walk across the stream, as the rocks in the water make stepping stones with very little distance between each one and the next. And another alternative is to use the beach, whose shingle is at a higher level than the water.
