Wellingborough: The Church of St Mary the Virgin (1)
The church was built, in the Perpendicular Gothic style, of ironstone ashlar with limestone dressings, between 1908 and 1930 to the designs of Sir Ninian Comper. It is a Grade I Listed Building, and one of only about sixty in the country so designated that were constructed after 1901. This is the view from St Mary's Paddock.
