SZ4598 : Beach with groynes, Lepe

taken 5 years ago, near to Lepe, Hampshire, England

Beach with groynes, Lepe
Beach with groynes, Lepe
Lepe is situated on the south coast of Hampshire below the New Forest. It is the second closest part of the mainland to the Isle of Wight (after Hurst Point). This view is westwards along its shingley beach looking towards the hamlet of Lepe from near to its Country Park. The groynes here are well battered and quite stubby, so probably have little effect on incoming waves.
