The tower of All Saints church with the spire of St Andrew's in the background.
Only the tower and spire of St Andrew's remain, the church was demolished in the late 1940s. St Andrew's spire is also known as Glover's Needle, a reference to the traditional local industry of glovemaking. Here they are viewed from Dolday.
Notwithstanding all the technical babble, what an evocative picture of days at the cricket in Worcester, and a unique record of the effects of the 'Great Flood'! Good on ya Nige.
