The Covenanters' Stone on Duns Law
The stone where the Covenanters met had to be protected by an iron grille to protect it from souvenir hunters. The blue plaque reads:

ON THIS STONE ACCORDING
TO UNBROKEN TRADITION WAS
RAISED THE STANDARD OF THE
COVENANTERS WHEN IN 1639
THEIR ARMY UNDER GENERAL SIR
ALEX LESLIE ASSEMBLED ON DUNS LAW

The plaque in the cairn in the background reads:
