One of the delights of the Lincoln "Cliff Villages", such as Harmston, is the experience of turning into a narrow lane and finding a surprise view of the Vale of Trent spread out 200 feet below.
The timber framing on "Beam Cottage" in the foreground is bogus and appears to be made of cement.
