Ballygawley is a small town located at the junction of two major roads, the A4 and A5, the Ballygawley roundabout is one of the most frequented traffic routes in Ulster. This has been now been bypassed by the Ballygawley Roundabout H6257 : Ballygawley roundabout Ballygawley was one of the first towns in Ireland to have its own electricity supply from a water turbine on the Ballygawley river. Nearby, the river Blackwater provides some good fishing.
