taken 5 years ago, near to Invergeldie, Perth And Kinross, Scotland

Dam on the Invergeldie Burn
Dam on the Invergeldie Burn
Water from here is taken to the Loch Lednock Reservoir and thence to the underground St Fillans hydro-power station - quite small at 17MW. It was originally 21MW but the station was completely refurbished in 2002 which increased efficiency and dropped capacity to 17MW.
