NY6101 : Low Borrowbridge farm

taken 5 years ago, 3 km from Tebay, Cumbria, England

Low Borrowbridge farm
Low Borrowbridge farm
The white building that is now a farmhouse is shown on 1898 map as an inn, presumably reflecting the use of this road as a drove road in medieval times, and later a coaching route. The road is now bypassed as a principal route by the A685 to the west. It now carries little motor traffic but forms part of National Cycle Route 68.
