Land train and child cyclist by Boscombe Pier
Land train and child cyclist by Boscombe Pier
The land train, several carriages linked together, runs along the Undercliff Drive - not on rails or tracks. The area is excellent for children, sandy beach for castles and moats, roadway with just a few authorised vehicles so it is safe for youngsters like this cycling.
Boscombe Pier

Pier opened in July 1889. The borough architect, John Burton, designed the modernist 1950s style entrance building. This building was Grade II listed in 2004 LinkExternal link
