The barrel-vaulted ceiling was painted by hand in the 1790s. The 18th Century chandelier is described as "Adam style". The house has an outstanding collection of paintings. One of these, on the left, is Nicoḷ Zen (1515-1565) by Titian, 1560-1565; this painting in the collection was only discovered to be by Titian in 2008.
The National Trust welcome leaflet handed to all visitors includes "Share experiences and photos from your time at Kingston Lacy online".
Kingston Lacy

Originally owned by the Bankes family, Kingston Lacy, an impressive 17th Century house, is now owned by the National Trust.
