Abbey Green, Ramsey, Cambs.
The tower of St Thomas' Church is thought to have been added in 1672 using recycled stone from Ramsey Abbey. It is believed that the original part of the church started life as a guest house for visitors to the abbey but that it was converted into a church in the C14th. The C15th gatehouse on the right, of which only the porter's lodge remains, still acts as the primary entrance to Abbey House.
