Kidderminster Town Station - a pannier departs
GWR 0-6-0PT No. 7714 is departing Kidderminster with the last departure of the day. Two further arrivals were scheduled but I needed to be elsewhere. It was built in 1930 by Kerr Stuart of Stoke-on-Trent. It was withdrawn from BR in 1959 and went on to work for the National Coal Board at Penallta Colliery. It was bought by the Severn Valley Railway in 1973 and is now in its second period of service since restoration.
