Roman horse's head, Inverness Town House
This is a replica of a Roman horse's head, in the main hall of the town house. The original was found near Augsburg in Germany in 1769, believed to date from Emperor Hadrian.

This was presented to Inverness to mark 30 years of town twinning with Augsburg.
