A recent survey conducted by the shopping mall revealed that one in five children were unable to correctly identify a bee and 25% of adults were unable to tell the difference between a wasp and a bee. One in ten children did not know that honey came from bees.
Big Bugs on Tour

This exhibition can be seen at the intu Chapelfield shopping centre in Norwich, featuring giant models of indigenous, intricately designed and superbly executed bugs during September 2019 (although it has to be said that one of the twelve exhibits is actually not indigenous). New research commissioned by the organisers has apparently revealed that being closer to nature makes people 67% happier, which prompted the Big Bugs on tour exhibition, aimed at bringing adults and children face to face with twelve giant bugs. One in six children is said to have not seen a single bug in six months and the campaign aims to reconnect children and adults to nature.
