This is the Swiss Cottage at Kilcommon to the south of Cahir (pronounced Care) in County Tipperary. It is a cottage orne - ornamental cottage - built by Richard Butler 1st Earl of Glengall to a design by architect John Nash. It contains a spiral staircase and some decorated rooms.
