Part of the cloisters of the cathedral.
The cloisters date from the early 13th century and were renewed in the 15th century. There are many monuments on the walls. Listed, grade I, with much detail at: LinkExternal link
The cathedral church of St Andrew was consecrated in 1239 with building work having commenced in 1176. The central tower was added in 1322. There is a mix of styles, Early English Gothic, Decorated Gothic and Perpendicular Gothic. The cathedral is listed, grade I, with much detail at: LinkExternal link
