The octagonal chapter house, built over a vaulted undercroft was completed in 1307. The chapter house contains some fine, decorated fan vaulting. Listed, grade I, with details at:

The cathedral church of St Andrew was consecrated in 1239 with building work having commenced in 1176. The central tower was added in 1322. There is a mix of styles, Early English Gothic, Decorated Gothic and Perpendicular Gothic. The cathedral is listed, grade I, with much detail at:
