Image of a Mountain
This is an image of a mountain located near the Mallow area. There are a few different ways that a mountain may be formed, with plates colliding against each other being the most common reason they are formed. It is likely that this mountain formed during the Variscan period as during this time large amounts of pressure created as a result of faulting lead to the formation of the mountains of South Munster.
