The bridge carries the South Staffordshire Railway Walk. The Wolverhampton (Low Level) to Stourbridge Junction branch line was an unsuccessful Great Western line which opened to passengers in 1925 and was closed to passengers by 1932. The last goods train ran on June 24th 1965.
