See O0390 : Dromin Jct near Dunleer. The terminus of the line from Dromin Jct – Ardee station with the goods for Drogheda awaiting departure at middle right. The signal cabin is the standard GNR(I) design. N9690 : Ardee railway station (1) shows the station in 1983.
The Dromin - Ardee railway
The 4½ mile branch from Dromin Junction, between Dunleer and Castlebellingham, opened in 1896 and closed to passengers in 1934. It remained open for goods finally closing in 1975.
