The entrance to Narrow Water Castle from the A2

Narrow Water Castle is an excellent example of a tower-house and bawn. Guarding the water access to Newry it is strategically located at the point where the Newry River discharges into Carlingford Lough.
Due to road works the castle is currently closed.
