Hillside of Foudland
Hillside of Foudland
A traditional steading in process of collapsing, with a couple of cottages beyond. The Victorian six-inch and 25-inch maps name it Hillside of Carnieston, and the layout of the buildings shown on the map surveyed in 1868-1871 LinkExternal link is quite different from the present layout, which is as surveyed in 1900 LinkExternal link. See LinkExternal link for further details.
