The world has a lot to be thankful for regarding the pioneering physicians of Edinburgh. In a way Burke and Hare did their bit too! A visit here will leave you in no doubt what you'll find under your skin and what can befall the human in ways of disease. The exhibits are wonderful and I found the section dealing with musket ball and cannon ball wounds particularly interesting!
