Freezing weather conditions on Scout Moor
The turbine tower in the picture was the first one of 26 to be built on Scout Moor above Rochdale.
The construction of this tower is a credit to the engineers who, over the second week of December 2007,
worked in freezing conditions and gale force winds to get the job done.
Turbine details: Tower Height: 60m
Blade Length: 40m Total Max Height: 100m
Manufacturer: Nordex Model: N80
