The Carneddau Range as seen from Teggs Nose Country Park
Very occasionally, Snowdonia is visible from the hills above Macclesfield. This photograph was taken from Tegg's Nose Country Park and shows the view across the Cheshire Plain with Jodrell Bank just poking through the mist with the dark line of the Peckforton Hills beyond. Further still is the Clwydian Range and the snow clad mountains are the Carneddau Range. The highest summit (centre right with the shadow) is Carnedd Llewelyn. Further left and above Jodrell Bank the Glyder Range is just visible. Snowdon itself lies directly behind Moel Famau and is not visible.
