SH8053 : Summit view, Dinas Mawr

taken 4 years ago, near to Capel Garmon, Conwy, Wales

Summit view, Dinas Mawr
Summit view, Dinas Mawr
It was difficult to convey they altitude of this modest summit, just 253 metres because the bracken infested terrain was surprisingly level. The slope down to the Conwy Falls and Telford's trunk road was very steep, but straight into the sun. The distant view takes in the Gwydir Forest between the Lledr and Llugwy valleys to the west of the Conwy, and the Carneddau shrouded in misty cloud. Very atmospheric!
