SH5975 : Oystercatcher bivouac

taken 4 years ago, near to Beaumaris, Isle of Anglesey/Sir Ynys Mon, Wales

Oystercatcher bivouac
Oystercatcher bivouac
On the south side of Gallows Point, the shore was occupied by a vast number of oystercatchers, presumably displaced from the Lavan Sands and local shores by the rising tide. I could not risk closer approach in case they took fright and flew off (though it would have been a spectacle).
