New Canal Swing Bridge Construction Site

Photographed from over the top of the safety fence, work can be seen constructing the new swing bridge that will link the A82 with the new Inverness West Link road. The old 1930s Tomnahurich Swing Bridge is being retained, so that only one swing bridge will close to road traffic at a time.
The white building in the distance below Tomnahurich Cemetery is the new bridge control tower.
