Hestercombe - Sybil's Temple
Sybil's Temple has been recently restored after careful study of drawings and records. Most of the funding was supplied by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.

The edifice was originally an 18th Century rotunda. The project was influenced by the garden of Batheaston Villa whose past owner, Lady Miller, was friendly with Hestercombe's landscape garden designer, Coplestone Warre Bampfylde.
