Museum pump
In the courtyard off Northampton Street at the Museum of Cambridge LinkExternal link (formerly the Cambridge & County Folk Museum), this pump bears a plaque stating that it was made by the Cambridge engineers Headly & Manning in 1853. This may be the original location, as it stands inside the modern street wall but just outside a door of the original museum building which until 1934 was the White Horse Inn. Near it is a TL4459 : Rat's tail pump.
