NJ1066 : Buried Tank Traps

taken 4 years ago, near to Hempriggs, Moray, Scotland

Buried Tank Traps
Buried Tank Traps
Whereas the tank traps further west have been exposed by the encroaching sea, here they have been buried in the sand and are only beginning to be exhumed. If you think about the height of a normal tank trap, you get some idea of how much sand has been piled up here in just eight decades.
