Unveiled in late 2019, the mural, on the exposed gable of the Port Glasgow baths building, depicts the harbours and Scotland's first dry dock which stood nearby until the mid 1960s. The mural was commissioned by Port Glasgow West Community Council, working with local arts charity RIG Arts LinkExternal link .

The gable was exposed when Monty's Bar was demolished in 2015 NS3274 : Site of Monty's Bar on Bay Street following a fire in 2009.
