The Udale Burn
The burn flows out from the millpond and turns 90 degrees before falling down under the stone bridge. All of these features are marked on the first OS 25" map that was surveyed in 1872. The bridge and stone banks must have been constructed prior to this date.
The burn runs down a valley and flows into the Cromarty Firth at Jemimaville. Halfway down the valley, there was a sawmill fed by a lade off of the burn.
