TQ0472 : Waterworks Judging by the profile of the roof this is the building that housed no less than five Worthington type horizontal direct acting triple expansion steam pumping engines (6 cylinders per engine). Built 1901 by James Simpson & Co, Pimlico. Each engine pumped 17 mgd of raw Thames water to a 43' head. Now all scrapped.
