The Waterloo Tavern, locally known as The Bush, was rebuilt 1932. The pub closed 2011. The building and the adjacent road are now occupied by an antiques and reclamation business.

Adjoining the former pub is the site vacated by the Clarence Flour Mills. The site, bounded by Clarence Street, Harcourt Street, St Peter Street and the Old Harbour, is designated for future housing. Meanwhile, buddleiah has colonised the entire site.
