Church Terrace and St Michael's Church, Aylsham
Church Terrace and St Michael's Church, Aylsham
This terrace must have been the origin of the name of the small road called "Church Terrace". The plan of the three houses was originally a U-shape but the house nearest the church is currently being rebuilt towards the rear, see TG1926 : Church Terrace: rear view pending rebuilding and TG1926 : Church Terrace: a temporary rear view. When this work is completed the original footprint will have been restored to something like the original. The sign to Dyes Loke is just visible on the right hand side of this picture.
