The River Great Ouse is the longest of several British rivers called "Ouse". At about 143 miles, it is the fifth longest river in the UK. From Syresham in Northamptonshire, the Great Ouse through Buckinghanshire , Bedfordshire,Cambridgeshire, and eventually reaching Denver Sluice, from here, past Downham Market until it enters The Wash at King's Lynn it is tidal.
