The 'Long Hole', Bangor
The 'Long Hole', Bangor
End of the 'Long Hole' in Bangor with Belfast Lough beyond. The concrete was damaged by storm 'Doris' a few years ago and it looks like more heavy seas may cause further issues. Taken during the Coronavirus pandemic, the ships in the distance are waiting to proceed into Belfast harbour which remains open for business; the ferry is heading from Belfast to Cairnryan, a vital service for freight which remains open.
