A variety of homegrown salad leaves which provide us with 'fresh' when dining 'al fresco'.
As there are just the two of us in self-isolation our BBQ is sacrosanct and exclusive. Even to the exclusion of others who might be tempted by the aromas of leisurely cooking over charcoal on not one of those 'turn the gas and cremate in next to no time' jobs.
The vast majority are 'cut and come again' plants, so we can often have three to four pickings in rotation (other planters are already seeded and in the pipeline).
