Catchwater Drain runs alongside and immediately north of the Coast Road through Salthouse. It is popular with ducks and geese as can be seen. The orangey-pink billed geese in the foreground are Greylag Geese with a good number of goslings.

Salthouse

Salthouse is a village and a civil parish in Norfolk. It is situated on the salt marshes of North Norfolk. The village is on the A149 coast road between King's Lynn and Great Yarmouth.
The village is mentioned in The Domesday Book and was a centre for salt production in the Middle Ages. There is a Church, shop and pub in the village.
