Castles of Munster: Ballinguile, Cork
These are the remains of a tower whose west end wall stands four storeys high having a later added house to the east end of the south wall. The entrance must have been in the east wall, and there was probably a spiral stair in the SE corner. The tower belonged to the Stapletons but passed in the 17th century to the Percivals, and then to the Freemans.
