Castles of Munster: Carrigrohane, Cork
A 17th century stronghouse of the Barrys that was ransacked in the wars of the 1640s, and restored as a habitable house in the 1850s. The windows are all new, but the hoodmoulds are original, as are the string courses between the various levels.
