Houseland Castle
Top-down aerial view of the foundations of Houseland Castle. The outline of two walls is clearly visible. Houseland Castle is an early Norman tower-house dating back to the late 12th or early 13th century. Two storm events in the early and mid 20th century tore it down to its foundations according to the owners of the land.
The castle's foundations sit on private land, so direct access to the public is not permitted. The owners were kind enough to give me access for filming.
