SE2951 : Old Roadside Barn at Bunkers Hill

taken 4 years ago, near to Pannal, North Yorkshire, England

Old Roadside Barn at Bunkers Hill
Old Roadside Barn at Bunkers Hill
Bunkers Hill stands 50 yds from some disused 19thC sandstone quarries, which is no doubt where the stone came from for this barn.
Semi-smartened up in recent years with a tin-roof and breezeblocked hay loft, this building has an Ordnance Survey Cut Benchmark on the NE corner next to the road.
