Grade II Listed early 18th century with 20th century alterations. Built in 1722 as a private residence by John Smith it was the home of Nettleham Manor Court and also a gaol for many years. It became licensed in 1793. Directory entries include; 1856 Charlotte Lippington; 1861 Joseph Hopper Gill; 1868 Joseph Chapman; 1872 William Lentin; 1885 George Hall; 1889 not listed as White Hart; 1896 James Palmer, good accommodation for cyclists; 1905-1909 Frederick Webster; 1913 Francis Cherrill; 1913-1919 Ernest P Goodyear 1921 W Coldwell; 1928 L Thompson; 1938-1981 H Bell and his family.
