TL3363 : North side of All Saints' Church

taken 4 years ago, near to Knapwell, Cambridgeshire, England

North side of All Saints' Church
North side of All Saints' Church
The body of the church was rebuilt in 1865 in a 13th-century style by the architect William Milner Fawcett, retaining the Perpendicular tower of around 1400. The much higher roofline of the original building can be seen on the east face of the tower. Note the timber buttresses shoring up the vestry and also the camouflaged chimney stack at the corner of the minimal transept, providing a flue for the TL3363 : Tortoise stove.
